In February 2005, the name ID&T radio was changed to SLAM!FM (This time with an exclamation mark in its name and logo, and written in all capitals; no further connections with the heretofore mentioned lifestyle magazine which ID&T had discontinued in the meantime). The music programming became even more commercially and mainstream focussed.
OBJECTIVE
After all the transitions were made, a campaign was started to put SLAM!FM on the map and the rebranding started mid 2016.
Main aim was to establish SLAM!FM not just as a radio station but as a cultural movement that deeply resonates with the target audience's values, interests, and emotions.
EXECUTION
Through a multifaceted approach, SLAM!FM aims to transcend the boundaries of traditional media, forging meaningful connections and lasting impressions within its community of listeners.
End of September, 2006 SLAM!FM was rebranded into a more fresher look and was launched with a bit of an unconventional campaign.
Since the Launch SLAM!FM has been present at events and festivals, such as Queen's Day at Rembrandt Plein Amsterdam
